A Rohim Sarip
Mr A Rohim Sarip is a highly experienced lawyer with 34 years of standing. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of A. Rohim Noor Lila LLP, a prominent law firm in Singapore. In addition to his legal expertise, Mr Rohim holds the esteemed positions of Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. His firm specializes in various areas of law, including Conveyancing, Commercial Law/Litigation, Corporate Law, Wills, Probates & Administration of Estates, Family Law, Adoption and Muslim Law, as well as Power of Attorney for HDB flats and other legal matters. Mr Rohim actively participates in community work alongside his legal pursuits.
Mr Rohim’s involvement with the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI) began in 1997 when he joined the organization. Recognized as an independent and non-profit entity, SMCCI represents the interests of the local Malay/Muslim business community. SMCCI is one of three ethnic chambers in Singapore, with the other two being SCCCI and SICCI. Established in 1956 as a company limited by guarantee, SMCCI’s primary objective is to promote the interests of the Malay business community.
Apart from his role in SMCCI, Mr Rohim holds several other positions of influence and responsibility. He currently serves as the Vice President of Casa Raudha, a member of the Malay Language Promotion Committee (MLLPC), a member of the SCORE Board, a member of the SMEC Committee, and a member of the Malaysia Singapore Business Council (MSBC). Moreover, he contributes his expertise as a member of the GPC resource panel for Finance and Trade and Industry. In the past, Mr Rohim served as a committee member of the Medishield Life Review Committee, which provided comprehensive recommendations to the government regarding medical insurance coverage.
Mr Rohim’s commitment to fostering international relationships is evident through his extensive travel history. He has led numerous business missions to countries such as Uzbekistan, China, Indonesia, Turkey, Brunei, Philippines, and Malaysia. Furthermore, he has presented papers at conferences held in Uzbekistan, Malaysia, and Singapore, showcasing his expertise and contributing to the legal discourse. Although Mr Rohim completed the maximum two terms as President of SMCCI, stepping down in 2013, he remains actively involved with the organization as the Immediate Past President, continuing to provide guidance and support to the current leadership.

He skillfully advises clients to maintain realistic expectations while their cases are pending, always keeping their best interests in mind. Recognizing that protracted litigation can be time-consuming and costly, Naga actively encourages clients to explore alternative methods of dispute resolution, such as mediation, in order to achieve satisfactory outcomes efficiently. He has successfully mediated numerous cases, enabling parties to reach mutually beneficial resolutions.

Noor Lila A Hamid
Madam Noor Lila was called to the Bar in 1989. She has more than 30 years experience in Family Law and Syariah Law. She is also active pro bono lawyer at the Legal Aid Bureau and was awarded the Outstanding Law Firm award in 2022. She has a pleasant personality and able to handle all matrimonial matters professionally.She is fluent in English and Malay.
